Hello there, and welcome to Honor Among Thieves!!

I'm your humble host Melissa, and this is my first real shot at a webcomic. I've wanted to get one started for years now, but things such as crater-sized plotholes and horrible art suckage have held me back until now. However, this time I'm really going for it. Shouldn't be too hard, right? I mean, I'm aiming for a once-a-week update, so it shouldn't be all that difficult. I'll have a whole week to get the comic done!

...Okay yeah, who am I kidding? I'm probably going to procrastinate until 11:59 Sunday night to even start each page. XD But it's the thought that counts!!

So... a few notes or whatnot...

This story is actually one of my newest ideas, but it's the most fleshed out of all of them. I've got a clear plotline in my head, not too many plotholes, character development... it's all good. Ironically, the story I've been developing the longest is the least finished of all of my ideas since I decided to completely scrap the old story due to middle school God-moding being most of the plot.

Here in this first page is the star of our show, Aislinn (pronounced Ashling or Ashlynn - it's Irish). I actually based this story around the other star of the show, Kobal, with Aislinn just kind of thrown in to hold up the plot. That kind of flipped around, and now it's her story. And that made very little sense.

You'll notice a bit of Irish symbology and the like in this comic. That was mainly based around Kobal's Irish accent, before I scrapped that idea for being too Terith-like (you'll get what I mean when you see him). I'm also mostly Irish myself, and I intend to one day leave this craphole we call America in favor of Ireland. You can already see a little symbology in the site's header (a claddagh) and in Aislinn Foley's name. Look up the meaning of her name if you'd like, I picked it for a reason. =)

This is getting REALLY long for such a sparse page... as a few other notes, I intend to update each Monday and, at the time of writing this, I don't even have the page coded yet. XD Ahahaha, I'd better do that...!!
